FAQs

Small World Singers Faqs

1. Where are rehearsals held?
Rehearsals are held every Monday (see Calendar) from 4:10pm to 5pm at Anne Steenblik's home (1327 W Atrium Court). Please enter through the basement walk-out door which is behind the RV pad on the east side of the house.

2. What are the age ranges?
Any elementary-aged child is welcome to sing with us.  We are looking for fun, energetic kids that love music (whether or not they can sing in tune!).

3. Where do you perform?
There will be 2 or 3 performances in June.  We will do a showcase for our family and friends.  You will receive four invitations for the performers to give to the special people in their lives once it is scheduled.  We also try to schedule one or two performances at nursing homes as they are fantastic place for kids to perform.  The residents love it and teaching kids to interact with Senior Citizens is a valuable skill to foster.  If you know of any other places, businesses, or fairs where kids can perform please let Anne know since she is new to Davis County and doesn't know the venues. The Calendar will be updated with the dates and arrival times as we get booked.

4. Do I need to stay with my child?
No, you don't need to stay.  In fact, since practices will be held in the basement of Anne's home there isn't really a space to stay.  If your child will be nervous without you there please talk to Anne and something can be arranged.

5. How much does it cost?
Please see the fees page.  If money is a problem please speak with me.  I want your child to have the experience of being on stage more than I want to make money.  There are ways to help offset the tuition fees.  Please ask!
